September brings an opportunity to slow down, reconnect and unwind as temperatures start to cool, and we head into the season of harvests, foraging and spectacular colours.

At Grounds Farm, we have a front row seat to the changing seasons. Nestled amongst the flowering fields, tucked away in the castle grounds we are steeped in nature all year round.

All our properties are full of cosy corners to catch up on your favourite book, perfectly placed on picturesque walking routes and in easy ambling distance of some wonderful olde-worlde pubs with pretty beer gardens.

If you love a cosy coffee shop, Kenilworth is calling you. Just a short walk will take you to Old Town, and the Town Centre is just a little further along, all within 20 minutes.

We’re expecting some warm weather, so there’s plenty of time to try open water swimming at nearby Lavender Hall Lakes or Spot on Wake. Explore nearby Leamington Spa, Warwick or Stratford upon Avon when the summer holiday crowds have dispersed.

Enjoy Ecofest in Leamington Spa on the 5th, or the Sausage and Cider Festival on the 12th in Warwick. Kenilworth itself has an impressive line up of amateur theatre productions, including Goodnight Mr Tom. At nearby St Nicholas Church, you can experience an atmospheric orchestral Coldplay tribute concert by candle light on the 11th.
